The school festival “Pegasus Festival” has a lot of visitors every year. It has not only class exhibitions but also club and other activities’ exhibitions too which show the school’s focus in various ways.
In order to help more people understand the activities of a Super Global High-school (SGH), this year’s Pegasus Festival, held in September 13th and 14th, displayed literature about the programs that are the SGH’s main activities, as well as presentation materials made by students.
The exhibitions reported each program’s benefits and the school’s overall advantages in international education, which allows students to study in varying ways according to their interests and motivation.
The students wrote drafts in Japanese first, and translated them into English in order to build their presentation skills in a foreign language. They eventually finished documents which clearly demonstrated the communication skills they acquired.
They arranged exhibitions so that visitors could understand and become interested in each program’s theme. Q&A sessions and paper based quizzes (maybe this is ok?? I didn’t exactly understand) added enjoyment to the exhibitions.
Panels of activities and interview videos after class showed that the students enjoyed studying on their own.
